Do I need to connect my bank account?
Nope. MoneyPeas is fully manual, you enter your income and expenses by hand. It's simpler, safer, and more mindful.
Is MoneyPeas really free?
Yes. Tracking your money is free and stays free: unlimited income and expense entries, custom categories, your monthly dashboard, history and savings goals. No ads, and no card required to sign up. There's an optional one-time upgrade if you want extras like budget limits and fixed expenses, but you never have to buy it.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, two ways. There's a native iPhone app on the App Store, and the web app works in any mobile browser, including on Android, where you can add it to your home screen.
What's the difference between the iPhone app and the web app?
The iPhone app needs no account at all. No email, no password, no sign in, and nothing sent to us: your entries stay on the phone and back up to your own iCloud. The web app needs an account because it stores your data on our server, but it works on any device including Android, and it's the one with email reminders. They're separate apps and they don't sync with each other. The iPhone app page compares them line by line.
Does Pro transfer between the iPhone app and the web app?
Not automatically, because the App Store and our web checkout are separate payment systems. But if you've bought Pro on one and want it on the other, email us your receipt and we'll set it up for free. Nobody should pay twice for the same thing.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored securely, and you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for extra protection. We don't sell or share your information.
Why not just use a spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets are great if you know how to use them. MoneyPeas gives you the same manual control, but with a faster, cleaner interface you can use on any device.
What's in Pro?
Pro adds budget limits, fixed expenses, advanced analytics and CSV export. It's for people who want to plan ahead rather than just record what they've spent.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a single payment of €29.99 and it's yours permanently. MoneyPeas has never had a subscription and isn't going to have one.
Can I get my data out?
Your entries are yours. Pro includes CSV export, and if you're on the free plan and want your data, email us and we'll send it to you.
