A manual budget app for iPhone. No account, no bank linking.

Add what you spend in a couple of taps. There is nothing to sign up for, it works with no signal at all, and your budget backs up to your own iCloud, never to us.

Fixed Add to list of fixed expenses

Unlimited income and expense entries, free

No cap on how much you track, no ads, and no trial that quietly ends. Custom categories and your whole history are in there too. There is no account either, so you open the app and add what you spent.

Track your spending as you go, month by month

Every month gets its own page, with income, expenses and what is left updated on every entry. The months stack up into a history you can scroll back through, with custom categories and savings goals included.

Pro is one payment, not a subscription

€29.99 once through the App Store, charged in your local currency. It adds fixed expenses, so rent, bills and subscriptions go into each new month in one tap, plus monthly budget limits by category, advanced insights and CSV export. MoneyPeas has never had a subscription and is not going to get one.

Your data is yours to move, with Pro

Already tracking on the web app? Export your expenses to CSV with Pro and import that file straight into your iPhone. Pro exports on the phone too, so nothing is stuck in here, and resetting the app clears it from your device and your iCloud.

Two apps.
Pick the one that fits you.

They do the same job and they do not sync with each other. The difference is who ends up holding your data.

iPhone app

Free to track, Pro €29.99 once

  • No account at all, nothing to sign up for
  • Entries stay on your iPhone
  • Backs up to your own iCloud
  • No analytics of any kind
  • Works offline
  • Imports a CSV from the web app
  • iPhone and iPad only

Web app

Free to track, Pro €29.99 once

  • Any device with a browser, including Android
  • Your budget on every device you sign in from
  • Nothing to install, and nothing to update
  • Needs an email address and a password
  • Your entries are stored with us
  • No offline use, and no CSV import

Moving from the web app to your iPhone

If you already use the web app, Pro's CSV export is the bridge. Export your expenses, then import that file in the iPhone app. The two use the same four columns, so it comes across as it is with no editing. Going the other way is not supported yet, so pick a direction and stay with it rather than running both.

If you buy Pro twice, tell us and we will fix it

The App Store and our web checkout are separate payment systems, so a purchase in one genuinely cannot unlock the other on its own. What we can do is sort it out by hand. Email moneypeas@proton.me with your receipt and we will set you up with Pro on the other platform at no charge. You should not have to pay twice for the same thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to use the iPhone app?

No. There is no sign up, no sign in and no email address. Download it and start tracking. This is the main difference from the web app, which needs an account because your entries are stored with us rather than on your device.

Does it connect to my bank?

No, and it never will. You type in what you spend. That is the whole idea, and it is why there are no bank credentials to lose. If you want the longer argument for it, read how to budget without linking your bank accounts.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if you have iCloud backup switched on. Nothing is sent to us. If you reset your data in the app it clears from iCloud and your other devices too.

Does the iPhone app collect any data?

No. Apple's privacy label on our App Store listing reads "Data Not Collected", with the line "The developer does not collect any data from this app." Every app on the App Store has to declare what it collects, and most budgeting apps declare financial information linked to your identity. Ours declares nothing, because there are no analytics, no third-party SDKs and nowhere to send anything to. We never receive your entries and could not read them if we wanted to. You can check the label on the App Store listing yourself.

Does my data sync with the web app?

No. They are separate apps with separate storage. The only way across is Pro's CSV export on the web, which the iPhone app can import.

Does Pro transfer between the iPhone app and the web app?

Not automatically, because they are two different payment systems. But email us your receipt and we will grant Pro on the other platform for free. Nobody should pay twice.

Is there an Android app?

No, and none is planned. The web app works in any mobile browser and you can add it to your home screen, which is the closest equivalent on Android today.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Nothing is ever sent or fetched, so a flight or a dead signal makes no difference.

What does it cost?

Tracking is free with no limits and no ads. Pro is a single payment of €29.99, charged in your local currency, and it adds fixed expenses, budget limits, advanced insights and CSV export.

Which iPhone and iOS version do I need?

iOS 18.2 or later, so any iPhone that runs it, and it works on iPad as well. The app is about 4 MB.

No account. No bank linking. Just your budget.
